Photograph Editing
Ever taken an important picture but when you come to print it, it just isn't right, or you want a professional looking image to frame as a gift for a friend or relative?
Example
In the example below a client wanted a framed print to give as a surprise gift for a relative. The image she wanted contained four generations of the same family, but the shot had not come out as she hoped. By combining the image with another I was able to create a portrait that made a beautiful gift.
The first picture is the original.

As you can see, the hospital background is far from ideal for a portrait picture, the baby is crying and his great grandfather, is looking away from the camera, also the babies' father on the left is slightly out of focus.
The second picture is a donor image I used. In this image the baby has red eye from the flash.

By taking good elements from both photographs, I was able to create a new portrait, with a much better background, I corrected the red eye, sharpened the farther to make him appear in focus and cloned out the cut on great grandfathers' forehead and I also added a border to finish off the picture and make framing easier.
